Alfred Kovaci
Senior Brexit Advisor and Director of Independent Brexit Advisory and Partners
Educated in the UK at the London School of Economics and Political Science(LSE), University College London(UCL) and in the US at Harvard University in subjects such as policy, government, international relations and corporate governance, Alfred Kovaci has more than 10 years experience working in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Alfred holds Senior Advisor roles for several organisations and is director of Independent Brexit Advisory and Partners responsible for advising business leaders, NGO executives and policy makers on challenges, implications and opportunities related to Brexit, political and strategic risks, government and political affairs, business network building, international business development and growth.
Prior to current engagements, Alfred was a Senior Advisor in UK Parliament covering Brexit and Political Affairs, Head of Strategic Partnerships in charge of business development and government relations at the Deloitte spinoff Business Integration Partners Consulting group (BIP). For several years Alfred also was Deputy Chief Executive and Board Director of International Business and Diplomatic Exchange(IBDE) - a highly-respected award-winning membership organisation that promotes international trade, cross-border investment flows, financial and professional services, commercial and economic diplomacy and bridging the gap between business and government.
Alfred has expert knowledge in international corporate governance, public affairs, business development, strategic partnerships, leadership and management, political and stakeholder engagement, global political and strategic risks, high-level networking, Brexit and navigating in international complex environments.
In recognition for his senior level experience and contribution to business and commercial diplomacy, Alfred is an elected Fellow of the Institute of Directors(IoD) and a member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs(Chatham House).
