Tamara spent her early career in investment banking and investment management before getting her MBA from INSEAD in Singapore and France. She moved to the UK in 2005 and moved outside of Financial Services to be Managing Director of a Financial Services Software Company, Interim CEO of a social sector start-up and Chief Operating Officer of a UK listed product innovation and development company. For the last two years she has been leading the ICA (the International Compliance Association) and Divisional Director of Risk & Compliance at Wilmington Plc. Her experience has given her a great deal of insight and perspective on the realities and barriers to building and sustaining diverse teams in today’s business world.
Tamara is passionate about organisational behaviour and the crucial role of diverse, inclusive and multidisciplinary teams in delivering successful organisational outcomes. She champions lateral thinking and diversity of thinking and inputs that brings together ideas from across and beyond an organisation.
Tamara also has extensive experience working as an Executive Coach with specific focus on helping managers and leaders find their voice and navigate challenging and sometimes intimidating landscapes. This focus means she has spent most of her coaching practice working with women and those that feel they are minorities or not heard in their place of work.
